Account and sign-in
How do I create a Wicked CMS account?
Sign in at app.wickedcms.com with Continue with Google. There is no separate email-and-password registration. See Create an account.
Can multiple team members use Wicked CMS?
Yes. Each person signs in with their own Google account and connects their own Webflow account. Webflow access is per-user OAuth — one person’s connection does not cover another user.
How do I sign out?
Open the user menu (your initials) and click Log out.
Webflow connection
I installed the Wicked CMS app in Webflow but sites don't appear
You must start Connect Webflow from within Wicked CMS while signed in. Installing the app from the Webflow dashboard alone does not complete the connection. See Connect Webflow.
Connection check failed — what should I do?
Click Retry on the error screen. If it persists, sign out, sign back in, and try Connect Webflow again. Check that you authorized the app on Webflow and did not close the browser during the OAuth redirect.
How do I disconnect Wicked CMS from Webflow?
Go to Your Webflow sites and click Unlink all sites. This revokes access for your entire Webflow account. See Manage your Webflow connection.
Can I unlink just one site?
No. Wicked CMS only supports account-wide Unlink all sites. There is no per-site disconnect.
Sites and content
Why don't I see any sites?
Your Webflow account may have no accessible sites, or the sites request failed. Check the error message on Your Webflow sites and verify your Webflow connection.
Why is the locale switcher missing?
The locale switcher appears only on multi-locale sites. Single-locale sites do not show it.
Why can't I publish items?
The Webflow site must be published at least once before you can publish individual CMS items. The Publish button shows a tooltip: Publish site to enable item publishing. Publish the site in Webflow first.
Data looks stale — how do I refresh?
Use Reload items in the collection toolbar to refresh the table, or Reload from Webflow in an item’s ⋮ menu to refresh a single item. See Reload items and Reload an item from Webflow.
Editing and saving
How do I undo changes to one field?
Option-click (Mac) or Alt-click (Windows/Linux) the blue-highlighted field label to reset it to the live value. See Reset a changed field.
Save is showing Retrying in Ns... — what's happening?
Wicked CMS hit Webflow’s API rate limit and is automatically retrying. Wait for the retry to complete.
Can I add an item to another locale later?
No. When creating or duplicating, choose All locales if you need the item in every locale. You cannot add an item to additional locales after creation.
