Restore live discards draft changes and reverts an item to its last published (live) version in Webflow.

Restore the live version

Open the item

Click OPEN on an item that has draft changes or is in a non-published state you want to revert.

Click Restore live

Select Restore live from the menu.

Confirm

A dialog titled Restore live version? appears. Click Restore live to confirm, or cancel to keep your current draft.

When to use Restore live

Use Restore live when you want to:

Discard all draft edits and return to the last published version
Undo a series of changes without resetting fields one at a time

Restore live vs. reset field vs. reload

Restore live	Entire item — reverts to published version	You want to undo all draft changes officially
Reset field (Option/Alt-click label)	Single field	You want to undo one field’s edit
Reload from Webflow	Entire item — fetches latest from API	Webflow may have newer data from another source

Availability

Restore live appears in the ⋮ menu when the item has a published version to restore to. It is not available for items that have never been published.

After restoring

The item status and field values reflect the restored live version. Changed-field highlights are cleared.
