Edit multiple items

You can now change field values on several CMS items at once from select mode.

Select mode with items checked before editing

Edit items in the Update items menu — opens one editor for every selected item
Fields start empty; only the fields you change are applied to each selected item
Untouched fields stay as they are on each item; clearing a field clears it on all items
Slug cannot be edited in bulk
Save, Publish, or Queue for next site publish to apply changes
A progress dialog shows while the update runs; select mode exits when it completes

In the collection header, click Select. Checkboxes appear on each row.

Click checkboxes to select individual items, or use the header checkbox to select all visible items.

In the bulk toolbar, open Update items and click Edit items.

Edit the fields you want to update. Touched fields are highlighted. Use Reset field to exclude a field from the update.

Click Save, Publish, or Queue for next site publish. Wait for the progress dialog to finish before starting another bulk action.

To edit one item with live diff, status, and locale details, open it with OPEN — see Open and edit an item.

You can now open a Live item on your published site from the item detail sheet.

Uses your site’s custom domain when one is connected; otherwise your site’s webflow.io staging URL
On multi-locale sites, the URL includes the locale subdirectory for the locale you’re viewing
The path shown under the slug field uses the same locale prefix

Click OPEN on an item row to open the detail sheet.

The item must be Live. Click Publish if it has not been published yet.

In the sidebar, click Preview. The live page opens in a new tab.

To edit the item in Webflow’s Designer instead, use Open in Webflow from the ⋮ menu — see Open in Webflow.
