Advanced filters for items

You can now combine multiple filter rules with And or Or — including using the same field more than once.

What’s new?

  • Add advanced filter in the Filter picker — creates a multi-rule filter chip in the filter bar
  • Chain rules with And or Or so items must match all rules, or any rule
  • Reuse the same field across rules (for example, two different Image conditions)
  • Same metadata and collection fields as regular filters, including image Alt text is set and Alt text is missing
  • Add filter rule to grow the group, or Delete filter to remove it

How to use an advanced filter

Show the filter bar

Open a collection and click Toggle filters if the filter bar is hidden.

Add an advanced filter

Click Filter, then click Add advanced filter at the bottom of the list.

Build your rules

Choose a field and condition for the first rule. On the second rule, pick And or Or. Click Add filter rule to add more conditions.

Review the results

The items table updates to match your rules. The advanced filter chip shows how many rules are active (for example, 3 rules).
