You can now add images by pasting a link or from your clipboard.

What’s new?

  • Upload, Paste a link, and Paste an image options in the image dialog — choose how to supply an image when you click Upload or Replace
  • Paste a link fetches the image from a URL and adds it to the item
  • Paste an image accepts an image from your clipboard with ⌘V / Ctrl+V or Paste from clipboard
  • Works for Image, Multi-image, and rich text image fields — file upload remains the default

Open the image dialog

In an image field, click Upload (or Replace on an existing image). In a rich text field, use the toolbar to insert an image.

Enter the URL

Paste or type the image URL, then click Add image.

Save or publish

The image is added to the field. Click Save or Publish to persist it to Webflow.

You can also select Paste an image in the same dialog to paste a copied image from your clipboard, or keep Upload selected to choose a file or drag and drop as before.
