# Search items

Use the search field in the collection toolbar to quickly find items in the current collection.

## Search items

#### Select a collection

Choose a collection from the sidebar. See [Browse collections](/browse-collections).

#### Type in the search field

Click the search input and type your query. Results filter as you type.

#### Open a result

Click **OPEN** on a matching row to edit the item.

## Search with filters

Search works together with [filters](/filter-items) and [advanced filters](/advanced-filter). When both are active, items must match the search query **and** all active filters.
