It always appears as the first column with the **OPEN** button. ## Default and schema columns In addition to **Name**, you can show or hide: * Metadata columns such as Slug, Publish State, Status, Published, Updated, Created, Archive, Draft, and Item ID * Collection schema fields configured as table columns **Item ID**, **Archive**, and **Draft** are hidden by default. Show **Item ID** when you need to copy an item's Webflow identifier or [filter by it](/filter-items). ## Close the panel Click **Close property visibility** or click **Toggle columns** again to close the panel. ## Tips * Hide infrequently used schema fields to reduce clutter * Put the columns you reference most often by dragging them in **Shown in table** * Newly loaded columns appear in their default position without changing the order of columns you already arranged * Column visibility applies to the current collection and is remembered for your session ## Related guide If data looks stale after changing columns, use [Reload items](/reload-items) to fetch the latest from Webflow. > Show, hide, and reorder table columns
